It is Dr. John Haugen's philosophy of highly personalized care that still guides our practice today. While practicing gynecology and obstetrics for more than fifty years and pioneering the modern use of anesthesia in obstetrics, Dr. Haugen's major contribution was his philosophy of the doctor-patient relationship. No one believed more strongly that is was the physician's duty to provide patients with personalized care.
